Two Whatsapp account in one Phone? - how is this possible!!

How Awesome it is to use one mobile device with two whatsapp application with two different numbers! not just whatsapp but Instagram!, Facebook! , Facebook Messenger! and many more.

 When you can have two sim cards in one mobile device to manage calls, then why not use the same single mobile device for using two whatsapp applications?

Yes! what you see in the above image is true, you will have two whatsapp applications installed in your single mobile device and yes you can configure two different numbers in these two similar apps.
For many this would be known, for others this would be like a blessing, just like me!
and yes - you would not even need a dual sim mobile device, but yes you will need two numbers :) 

Mostly all mobile devices are launched with dual and triple sim cards, there are so many reasons for this invention and change, some of them i can think of are saving you from the hassle of charging two devices, carry and manage two devices etc.

 Now, Let me tell you how to do this magic in your device :) 

 Step 1 - Search for Dual Space in google playstore ( there are many apps like this, but this works the best for whatsapp and many other applications )


Step 2 - Post Download - open and accept/allow permissions
 


 Step 3 - Select the app which you want to clone and use.
Here - you will find the most popular app already cloned, you can click on "+" icon to clone may other apps already installed in your device.


Step 4 - Setup your cloned whatsapp and enjoy!
Click on the cloned whatsapp application to open and finally click on Agree and Continue.





Step 5 -  Verify your mobile number.
Please note: you cannot have same two same numbers configured  for whatsapp in two different device, even if it is cloned, whatsapp privacy and feature will not allow you to do this.

 For this step - you do not need a dual sim phone, you just need two numbers.

 Input your second mobile number which you want to configure in the cloned whatsapp, click on Next, Whatsapp will send you the verification code just like you would have received for installing whatsapp earlier.


Step 5 - Backup your earlier conversations in the cloned app.
This is one of the best feature, you can backup all the chat history in the cloned app.

 Important before this step - Please get the backup done of your previously installed whatsapp application in your another device, it is simple to do which will always help you to get your history if your phone is stolen or you change your device or in this case when you are cloning
To perform back up - in your already installed whatsapp - Go to settings and click on chat backup.

 Click on restore to continue the backup and use the cloned app just as whatsapp is shifted from one device to another :)



if someone confuses you with whatsapp business as a alternative to cloning, please ask them to read my blog or tell them the following.
Whatsapp business will not help you -  This will only help you to use the same application for business and personal, but this is for small businesses. This will also mix your messages both personal and business- i would definitely not want that!
and for people who do not own a business and just two numbers, business whatsapp is just not for you. - Let me know if you want to learn more about the whatsapp business application.
Cloning feature is available only for Android devices, I could not find any such thing for iOS devices, there are many but those are just web interfaces which look like an app and does not work as seamlessly as for Android.

What is Ergonomics?- No work after 5 pm? And 4 days work week, How sweet is that?

This topic isn’t about the cliche discussion of Work Life Balance, but i would say it is something which will impact work life balance for sure for many of us and the way we are working. Someone is really researching ergonomics (the study of people's efficiency in their working environment) and implementing it for sure, glad to know it is impacting positively. The recent decision ( not sure if it is a pilot for some months and results of this decision is still not published) by Amit Agarwal - Amazon India Head to its employees n ot to answer calls and emails after office working hours is path breaking and a bold decision when rest of other organisations associated with Amazon are working as usual. Can only imagine the disruption and the impact of this decision in other organisations. Amit also advised of not to take any decisions between 6pm and 8am .
